Paralegal rate of US$50 per hour plus supervisor’s rate of US$80 per hour for actual work performed, but total billing for ordinary cases shall not exceed the equivalent amount charged for 20 hours of paralegal work (50/hr.) and 10 hours of supervision (P80/hr.) or a total amount of US$1,800 as ceiling regardless of the fact that the number of hours actually spent in the performance of the legal task exceeds 20 hours for paralegal work and 10 hours for supervision. However, for unusually complex or complicated cases, the ceiling of $1,800 shall be disregarded, but the Bureau shall first notify the client on the revised ceiling before undertaking the requested legal task.
